Personal Injury Claims
Impact provides loans to claimants who require funding to meet living costs between their date of injury and the time that their settlement is paid.
Personal Injury advances are for a minimum of £2,000 and to a maximum of £50,000.
The amount loaned is a percentage of the estimated damages settlement.
The company does not require borrowers to provide security over personal assets or to provide monthly repayments during the period of the loan.
Traditional lenders require serviceability (for interest and repayments) and security for the loan. By contrast, an Impact Funding Solutions personal injury loan requires no servicing and is “non-recourse” against any of the borrower’s assets except the settlement payment.
Impact Loans are available to eligible applicants, who may apply to borrow a portion of the value of their pending damages settlement.
Impact Loans helps to ease your money pressures while you are waiting for your claim to be paid.
Who Qualifies for an Impact Loan?
Impact Loans are available to individuals with Damages Claims where :
- liability for the claim has been admited by an Insurer or is assessed by Impact not to be an issue;
- damages are able to be quantified;
- settlement is likely to be made within 12 months of the loan being made;
- a settlement has been agreed with the Insurer;
- where a Court has made an interim funding order;
- where an amount of interim funding has been agreed with an Insurer;
- a Release and Discharge has been signed;
Impact Loans are repaid from Claim Settlement Proceeds. It will be necessary for you to give your solicitor instructions to pay Impact out of the proceeds of your claim and give Impact an authority to deal directly with your solicitor. This is the only security required.
Impact does not take security over your house, car or other personal possessions.
Impact does not require personal guarantees.
